The Bhartiya Janta Party- Mahila Morcha organized an award ceremony on 15 March 2023 in Nagpur, where intellectual women like lawyers, doctors, engineers, and teachers were honored.
Dr. Varada Gokhale, Medical Director of Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute and Research Centre was one of the recipients of this prestigious award, which was presented to her by the State President of Mahila Morcha BJP, Chita Wagh, for her remarkable work in the medical field.

She has successfully operated on many young children with congenital cataracts and helped them see the world with better vision.
