Shri Ravindra Yashwantrao Bhusari is a resident of Brahmapuri and originally hails from Chandrapur District. Since childhood he has been an active member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. During student days at Dharampeth College Nagpur, he was the Secretary of Student Union. He is a sportsman and represented Cricket as a captain of the college team. He was a lecturer of repute at Dharampeth Commerce College. In the year 1981 he embarked on a journey as the full live ‘Pracharak’ for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
During the emergency, he was imprisoned for about 40 days in the Nagpur jail for opposing the regime. Shri Bhusariji has held various important posts of pride / appointments / assignments Viz ‘Nagpur Pracharak’, ‘Vidarbha Prant Pracharak’, ‘Paschim Shetra Pracharak’, ‘Secretary Kendriya Karyalaya’. He has also been the Bhartiya Janata Party coordinating minister for Maharashtra. At the ripe age of 60 he retired from the political post. Presently he is the ‘abhilekhakar’ at the Sangh Headquarter.
