Bhagyashri Gade completed her basic medical education from prestigious medical institute, Government Medical college, Nagpur and then pursued a residency in ophthalmology at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, India’s first rural government medical college with high patient load, followed by senior residency of one year. She also worked as an ophthalmologist in Government Medical college, Nagpur. She subsequently completed a two-year Diplomate of National Board at Mahatme Eye bank and eye hospital, Nagpur with enough exposure of various ophthalmic subspecialties.
She is general ophthalmologist and Cataract surgeon at Madhav Netralaya.
